Adult Basic Education (ABE)
The Emily Griffith Technical College Adult Basic Education program is appropriate for individuals who have taken a long break from education and would like a refresher course that will review and focus on the basics of reading and writing. The ABE program will offer classes, titled Bridges to Career and Technical Education (CTE), that allow students to learn foundational skills as they explore the various CTE programs offered at EGTC. The Bridges to CTE classes are also recommended for any individual who is attempting to increase their TABE score for entrance into a CTE program.
