The Testing Center administers a variety of academic and career/technical tests for the purpose of placing students in academic and career/technical programs. A current government-issued photo ID is required for all tests.

Program Testing Center
Emily Griffith Technical College (EGTC) offers a variety of programs that require minimum scores in reading and math. To view a list of the test requirements for your program of choice please visit our testing center page. We use the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE). Test scores are valid for up to one year after the original test date. Students who wish to retest must meet with their program advisor. Cost is $15 per retest.

Thursday: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

WorkKeys is the assessment of choice for both the CareerReady Colorado Certificate and the National Career Readiness Certificate. Those who take the WorkKeys test are eligible for the National Career Readiness Certificate and can qualify for the CareerReady Colorado Certificate, a state certificate that certifies job seeker skills.
Job applicants who are required to take the WorkKeys assessment or individuals who want to take the WorkKeys test for job training or placement may do so for $40. The test takes approximately three hours. Examinees must bring a valid government-issued photo ID. You must schedule in advance by calling the testing center at 720-423-4773.
High School Equivalency/GED Testing
Emily Griffith is an authorized online Pearson Vue GED Test Site, located at 1860 Lincoln St.
Students will be required to visit www.GED.com to register online for testing and payment. A valid government issued photo ID is required for registration and testing.
The 2016 GED includes four tests: Reasoning through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies. The cost is $37.50 per test and $150 for the total battery of tests. If you have additional questions please contact the GED Testing Coordinator at 720-423-4723.
