Culinary Arts

The Culinary Arts program provides students with the skills that are in high demand in today's professional kitchens.  You'll learn basic techniques that are constantly reinforced as you move from basic to the more advanced stages of cooking.  

Lectures, demonstrations, and the opportunity to work at Emily's Cafe (our on-campus eatery) with experienced chefs provide you with the confidence and skills you need to start a career in culinary arts. The extensive hand-on training is designed for students who wish to obtain the basic skills and experience for entry-level employment in the food service industry, hotel industry, catering services, insitutional food service operations and for themselves.
