It introduces the learner to basic concepts necessary for assessing and meeting nursing care needs of the adult and older individual. The course focuses on the common disorders of the neurological cardiovascular blood lymphatic immune endocrine gastrointestinal renal and urinary systems and the special senses. Relevant psychosocial and ethno cultural concepts are integrated throughout.
