Izallia Aura started cosmetology classes at Emily Griffith Technical College last month and she loves the program.
“I always wanted to go to Emily Griffith, I just didn’t know if I wanted to go for esthetician or if I wanted to go for cosmetology,” she says.
Last summer, she started making wigs, so it made sense for her to learn to cut and dye hair.
“I just like beauty in general, and then I got into the program and I am loving it,” she says.
In addition to being a cosmetology student, she’s also a social media influencer.
Izallia is a transgender female and posts about her transition on social media. She also updates her viewers on her wig making progress.
Her dream is two fold: She wants to be loved and accepted, and she hopes to move to California and open her own business.
“I want to go to California and start my own wig installs and get my own studio and create my own business and make my own foundation,” she says with excitement.
