Bring your English to the next level! Register for English classes at Emily Griffith Technical College at 1860 Lincoln St. Denver, CO 80203. We offer intensive classes in the mornings, afternoons, evenings and Saturdays in many levels from beginning to advanced. We welcome students from all around the world.
- 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday
- 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday
- 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 22nd
We have a diverse student population and offer several programs and classes to meet their educational goals, including:
- Intensive PACE - Pre-academic and Community English classes to prepare for college
- Free Career Readiness ESL (CRESL) courses for refugees
- Advanced English courses including Vocational Transitions; a free program to prepare for college
- English for Work (AEFLA) classes to improve English in order to get a job or improve employment

English Language Acquisition (ELA) classes have been a part of Emily Griffith since the school opened in 1916. We are centrally located in downtown Denver with easy access to bus and lightrail from Aurora and other surrounding areas.
Each year, more than 2,500 students from more than 90 countries study English at the Language Learning Center at Emily Griffith. We're Colorado's premiere English school, providing the highest quality English language instruction.

Teaching Others to Talk the Talk
Meet Kevin Satterfield, an instructor in the English Language Acquisition (ELA) classes at Emily Griffith Technical College. Our school has successfully served the needs of thousands of immigrant students in Colorado since 1916, all due to dedicated people like Kevin.
Emily Griffith's career and technical education programs are accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE). English language, HSE and Apprenticeship programs are not included under the COE accreditation.
