What is Virtual Design Construction? It is a new, fast-growing and rewarding career that uses advanced technology to create virtual models of buildings to improve the construction process.

Colorado high school students who are interested in design, technology, computer programming and construction are invited to join us for an overview of the new Virtual Design Construction Academy (VDCA) recently developed by Emily Griffith Technical College, Denver Public Schools, Encore Electric and Associated General Contractors.

Colorado high school students, parents and guardians, school guidance counselors and teachers will have the opportunity to learn more about 3D modeling, robotics and construction technology and speak with top industry experts about a career path for this high-demand career.

The Emily Griffith Technical College VDCA program will allow students to receive on-the-job training, paid internships, and gain essential skills to achieve gainful employment with top construction, engineering and architectural companies across Colorado.
