Automotive Collision Repair: Non-Structural Level I introduces students to the core principles of auto collision repair. The curriculum includes industry safety, welding and cutting, non-structural repair techniques, metal finishing, plastics and adhesives panel repair, paintless dent repair, vehicle disassembly/reassembly and related systems. Students will develop practical skills through hands-on lab work, preparing them for entry-level roles in the industry.
This program offers a pathway for students to earn I-CAR Pro-Level 1 certification.

This program has a strict attendance policy that will be reviewed at orientation.Â
- You are not allowed to miss more than 1 class period per course as a full-time student or 2 class periods as a part-time student (8 hours total); if you miss more than 1 or 2 class periods of the course hours a referral will be made to your Student Success Coordinator.
- This resets at each course throughout the program and this includes arriving late and leaving early
- Tardiness for over 15 minutes without notification may result in being sent home
- Multiple absences or tardies will result in a failing grade and removal from the program
- Missed hours cannot be made up. You will need to re-enroll in a future cohort.
- Enrollment in future cohorts is dependent on pending space and availability.

Program Requirements
By applying to this program, you understand the Academic Preparedness and Physical Requirements below.
- English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
- Understanding of basic algebra.
- Ability to focus on safety around moving equipment, hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.Â
- Perform movements including, but not limited to bending, stretching, twisting, squatting, kneeling and reaching.
- Capable of sustained activity for 5 hours at a time.Â
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Be able to quickly identify and solve problems.
- Tolerate some chemicals and strong odors.Â
- Use eyes, hands, fingers, arms, and legs in a coordinated manner.Â
- Relative stability of arms and hands.
- Maintain spatial acuity.
- Tolerate a variety of temperature ranges that may include very hot, or very cold temperatures.Â
- Wear PPE equipment, such as coveralls, safety glasses or goggles, and gloves.Â
- Wear hearing protection, should the noise levels necessitate the use.Â
- Wear protective masks to guard against potentially harmful contaminants, such as paint fumes and solvents.Â
- Work in cramped areas that may require awkward positioning, such as the interior of a vehicle.Â
- Communicate effectively with instructor(s), classmates, and clients.
- Basic keyboard and computer skills, including file management in a Windows operating system.
- Students are not allowed to work during scheduled class hours.
