setting up employer profile
Step 1: Login into Lightcast’s Employers Portal
- New employers – Click Sign Up
- Existing employers – Enter email and password

Step 2: Enter Employer Profile Details and Save
- All fields are required
- Multiple profiles can be created for one company if contacts are posting for different areas

Step 3: You will receive notification from a Career Coach within 3 business days about the status of your Employer Profile
- You are unable to post to the job board until the employer profile has been approved

Dashboard – You will be able to see live, ended, and pending Postings as well as add a New Posting from the Dashboard.

Step 1: To creat a new job posting, click Add New Posting
Step 2: Fill out the New Posting details (* indicates required field)
- Job Title*
- Description*
IMPORTANT: To comply with Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, please include a pay range. Job postings that do not include a pay range will not be posted. - Job Type*
- Application Instructions*
For Apply on Company Site – Provide URL to direct job posting and application page - Button Text
- Special Instructions (optional)
- Post Expiration Date*
- Post to Career Coach Pages
List as many categories of student/job seekers who should apply (ex: HVAC, Welding, other).
All, Accounting, Automotive Collision Repair, Automotive Service, Barbering, CAD-BIM, Computer Networking, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Dental Assisting, Esthetician, HVAC, Massage Therapy, Medical Assisting, Multimedia and Video Production, Nurse Assisting (CNA), Practical Nursing, Water Quality Management, Welding, Adult Education (this includes High School Equivalency and English learners)
Step 3: Send for Approval
- Our Career Coaches will review the job posting within 1 business day.
- If all the job post requirements are met, it will appear on the Master Job Board and program-specific Job Boards.
- If the job post does not meet all the requirements, we will email you to inform you of required updates.
Step 4: Job Posting Edits or Removal
- You can update a post at any time by clicking “Edit”
- The job post will remain on the Job Board until the expiration date.
- If you fill the position before the expiration date you can remove the post by clicking “Edit” then click “End Posting” from the Dashboard
Step 5: Report if You Hire an Emily Griffith Technical College Student
- If you hired a student or graduate please report back to us by selecting the applicant’s name or selecting “other” and typing their name into the optional text box.
