Emily Griffith Technical College is here to help you meet your hiring needs for a variety of positions and industries. Our job seekers have varied interest areas, skill sets, and qualifications.
about our job seekers
Our job seekers are diverse and include:
- Career and Technical Education (CTE) students developing industry-recognized skills and training across 18 programs, including Trades and Business, Health Science, and Hospitality, Services, and Multimedia.
- High school students in Concurrent Enrollment
- English language students from over 50 countries, from beginner to advanced levels
- High school equivalency (HSE) students from both the US and overseas, studying for their High School Equivalency test
- CAREERS participants who are professionals with foreign experience and English skills looking to retrain or re-enter the workforce, including engineers, pilots, doctors, teachers, and more!

setting up employer profile
Step 1: Login into Lightcast’s Employers Portal
- New employers – Click Sign Up
- Existing employers – Enter email and password

Step 2: Enter Employer Profile Details, Save and Submit
- All fields are required for Employer Profile approval
- Multiple profiles can be created for one company if contacts are posting for different areas

Step 3: You will receive notification from a Career Coach within 3 business days about the status of your Employer Profile
- You are unable to post to the job board until the employer profile has been approved

Dashboard – You will be able to see live, pending, and closed postings as well as add a New Posting from the Dashboard.

Step 1: To create a new job posting, click “Add New Posting”
Step 2: Fill out the New Posting details (* indicates required field)
- Job Title*
- Description*
- Please include: Company Overview, Job Duties, Requirements, and Pay Range.
- IMPORTANT: To comply with Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, please include a pay range. Job postings that do not include a pay range will not be posted.
- Job Type*
- Application Instructions*
For “Apply on Company Site” – Provide URL to direct job posting and application page - Button Text
Customizable text – leave as defaulted or change to “Apply Now” for example - Special Instructions (optional)
- Include who the ideal candidate is. For example:
- Current students of [ ] program
- Graduates of [ ] program
- Graduates with license
- Entry level, no experience required
- Beginner English accepted
- Include who the ideal candidate is. For example:
- Post Expiration Date*
- Post to Career Coach Pages (optional): do not use this field
Step 3: Send for Approval
- Our Career Coaches will review the job posting within 3 business days.
- If all the job post requirements are met, it will appear on the Job Board.
- If the job post does not meet all requirements, we will email you to request updates.
Step 4: Job Posting Edits or Removal
- You can update a post at any time by clicking “Edit”
- The job post will remain on the Job Board until the expiration date.
- If you fill the position before the expiration date, you can remove the post by clicking “Edit,” then click “End Posting” from the Dashboard
Step 5: Report if You Hire an Emily Griffith Technical College Student
- If you hired a student or graduate, please report back to us by selecting the applicant’s name or selecting “other” and typing their name into the optional text box.
