Get your GED® certificate with us. Come in and experience the small interactive clases, excellent teachers, and tutoring support we offer at Emily Griffith Technical College. 

What is the GED®?

The GED test is made up of 4 subjects, broken down into separate exams: Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. You don't have to take all 4 tests at once, you can space them out.

ATTENTION: 

Due to Coronavirus, all GED classes at Emily Griffith will be online starting April 7th. 

We will offer the following GED Preparation classes: Language Arts Level 1, Language Arts Level 2, Math Level 1 and Math Level 2. Check out our online GED FAQs here

We recently received authorization from the Colorado Department of Education to offer our grant-funded GED Prep classes virtually. Beginning May 4th, classes will be free to students!

Registration Steps:

If you wish to register for our online GED classes, please complete the following steps:

NEW STUDENTS

  1. Complete our online application here.
  2. Email our HSE advisor Maria Perea at maria.perea@emilygriffith.edu and request to be registered for either GED Math, GED Language Arts, or both. In your email, please also include your first and last name, and email address. We will register you and send you an email confirming your registration.
  3. Complete payment by calling our Treasurer’s Office at 720-423-4783 or pay online. Instructions on online payment are available here.

CONTINUING STUDENTS

  1. Email our HSE advisor Maria Perea at maria.perea@emilygriffith.edu and request to be registered for either GED Math, GED Language Arts, or both. In your email, please also include your first and last name, and email address. We will register you and send you an email confirming your registration.

Emily Griffith's career and technical education programs are accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE). English language, HSE and Apprenticeship programs are not included under the COE accreditation.
