FAQS

Class materials will be provided in class. You are encouraged to bring a notebook and paper, however, it is not required. Your instructor may have other recommendations on the first day of class.

Emily Griffith does not provide students with a computer or laptop. There is a computer lab available for student use on the 6th floor in room 662. If you are taking online classes it is expected that you have a computer or phone and access to reliable internet access so you can join your online class.

All of our online classes are live classes with a group and an instructor. You will receive a Google Meet link after registration and will use the same link for the full duration of the class. Students are expected to login on time and be active in the class. Students are expected to attend class from a quiet space without interruptions.

Yes! You can take multiple classes during the same term. However, if you have a busy work schedule or family commitments that require a lot of time and attention, we recommend starting with one class.

The more classes you are able to attend, the more you will learn!

We encourage you to attend every class. However, we understand that sometimes you may need to miss a class. If you need to be absent, please email your teacher.

Drop-in tutoring is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 – 5:00 pm in rooms 506 and 653. Email academic.empowerment@emilygriffith.edu if you cannot attend these sessions.

We are committed to providing academic accommodations and support in order to create equal opportunities to participate in our programs. You may learn more about our Disability Support Services and request accommodations here.

Emily Griffith’s Main Campus does not offer free parking. Paid parking options are available in metered spots on the street and in area parking lots. Nearby lots have rates ranging from $5-$16 MAX. You can use BestParking to find a spot. Because of the limited availability of parking, we recommend using public transit if possible.

Free parking is available if you are taking CRESL classes at our Aspen Hall location at 7039 East 18th Ave, Denver, CO 80220.
