Adult High School Diploma+
OVERVIEW
Coming soon!
Adults can earn a high school diploma through the Adult High School Diploma+ program Emily Griffith Technical College. This program guides students through competency-based courses in English, Mathematics, and Civics. This flexible, adult-focused pathway will enable students to graduate with a diploma that prepares them for college and a career.
As part of the Adult High School Diploma+ program, students will be able to take an additional Career and Technical Education (CTE) course for credit. Students will earn this credit by completing an approved professional certificate, training, or course aligned with a CTE pathway. Options for this course may include industry-recognized certifications such as OSHA, other approved workforce training, or an Emily Griffith CTE course.
The program is authorized by Colorado Senate Bill 23-007, which grants technical colleges the authority to issue high school diplomas for adults.
