Multimedia and Video Production Student Smiles While Recording for Video Podcast in Denver, CO

Our part-time Multimedia and Video Production program focuses on developing foundational skills in multimedia, design, video production, graphics and animated graphics, in preparation for an entry level position, and/or to create a freelance business in the industry. Our small class size allows you to have significant time with the instructor and more hands-on experience with state-of-the-art industry software and equipment. Our Multimedia and Video Production classes are in the evening so you can work while completing the program. The program begins with a focus on fundamental skills in photography, computer, multimedia software, and production equipment, and builds on those skills during the 11-month program, expanding into design, storytelling, and additional multimedia communication skills.

Throughout the duration of the year, students have multiple opportunities to engage in a variety of work-based-learning activities and projects guided by industry professionals. Capping off the academic school year, students bring all the skills they have learned during the year together in the final course, Television Studio Production, held at the Denver Community Media Center (formally known as the Community Media Center, which also houses Rocky Mountain PBS), for a fun and exciting culmination of the Multimedia and Video Production program!
