In Emily Griffith Technical College’s new Accelerated Hands-On Quantum Technician Program, you’ll learn to solve complex, real-world problems that conventional technology can’t. We’ll teach you the fundamentals of quantum science, quantum technology, and quantum physics so you’re prepared for high-tech manufacturing positions in emerging fields like the semiconductor, solar manufacturing, and opto-electronics industries.

What You'll Learn
- Optics and Photonics:Â lasers, detectors, beam tuning and manipulation, and moreÂ
- Ultra-High Vacuum Systems: assembly, operations, maintenance, and troubleshootingÂ
- Quantum Phenomenon and Quantum Information SystemsÂ
- Structured problem solving, technical documentation, mathematics, and statisticsÂ
- Technical documentation compositionÂ
- Teamwork: planning and completing complex development projects as a groupÂ

- Program length: 10 weeks
- Monday - Thursday 8 AM - 4:30 PM, Friday 8 AM - 3 PM
